Keith Arem attached a very interesting goodie to one of his letters. This news has already received coverage on gaming sites: Arem, as well as a mini-interview with him. Here you can read two letters ( 1, 2) by Mr. Though it's a difficult task, we, adventure game fans, should do our best to achieve it! The fate of Toonstruck 2 lies in our hands! So there's a fan petition with a goal of 50000 signatures. But he needs "tremendous fan support" to interest the publishers and raise funding. Now, in 2010, Keith Arem, the musical director of Toonstruck, who now owns the rights to it, is planning to re-release Toonstruck and include the second part. Unfortunately, the first game was a commercial failure, and this never happened. Back in 1996, there was an adventure game known as Toonstruck, in the vein of "Cool world" and "Who framed Roger Rabbit?", about a living animator (played by Christopher Lloyd) trapped in the cartoon world.īefore the release, the game was cut in two parts with the intention to release the second part as a sequel.

Ok, if you don't know the whole story of Toonstruck 2, I need to tell you what this community is about. Heck, even Duke Nukem Forever came out of limbo, anything can happen now! This kind of message just makes my day :) I will keep you updated on the game’s progress, and hopefully we can generate more interest to help finance its release! We have been re-assembling and compiling the original assets to evaluate how we could re-release the original game, and what will be needed to do a sequel. We are much closer to moving forward with the new release. Keith Arem also told me he he has had "some excellent progress and developments on the Toonstruck project". Please keep up your support for Toonstruck, and thanks for your patience and keeping it alive.

Just to add to Drew's post.We are not affiliated with PetitionSpot and are not asking or collecting any money from fans. I'd like to share with you the latest message Keith Arem left on the Toonstruck Two Petition Facebook page
